Fee collection in 2021

As we find ourselves well and truly involved in Term 1, now is the time to review or, if required, act upon, aged fee ledgers from 2020 and prior.

While it may have been appropriate to defer payment due dates or offer hardship to families last year, if payments to accounts have not recommenced, it is now important to re-engage with those families to understand their current circumstances.

From our attendances on our referred accounts, circumstances change quickly and without notice to you. Often families do not advise of changes unless specifically asked. We understand that initiating these conversations can be difficult and sensitive matters may be raised.

If there is a hesitancy to contact a family to discuss outstanding accounts or despite your best endeavours to understand a family’s circumstances, you have had no success, we suggest that you consider referring those accounts to Platinum Collection Agency for our team to address.

Our team is highly skilled in the recovery of tuition fees and charges, understands family dynamics and encourages the family to discuss circumstances openly and without judgement. It is from our longstanding experience, that we have succeeded with setting up proposals with a majority of our referrals and in many cases, payment in full over a short period.

If you would like to discuss Platinum’s processes or speak with one of our team more broadly, please contact us on 1300 600 181 or email office@platinumcollection.com.au.
